Redeem a Gift Card
Have a Dr. Schrock's gift card?
Redeeming is simple — here's the three-step version, with answers below for the less-common situations (lost emails, partial balances, that sort of thing).
Find your code
Check the email from Dr. Schrock's with the subject line “You've received a Dr. Schrock's gift card.” The redemption code is in the body, formatted as four groups of four characters (like ABCD-EFGH-IJKL-MNOP).
Shop and add to cart
Pick what you want — capsules, essential oils, sprays, bundles, even other gift cards. No exclusions, no minimums, no rules about what the card can be used for.
Enter code at checkout
At the payment step, click “Gift card or discount code” and paste your unique code. The balance applies instantly. Any remainder you owe gets charged to your card; any leftover stays on the gift card for later.
Ready to redeem?
Browse the full catalog — supplements, essential oils, sprays, and bundles. Apply your code at the payment step.
Start shopping →Three other things worth knowing
- Your balance doesn't disappear in one order. If your gift card has $100 on it and your order is $40, the remaining $60 stays on the same code for future orders. Same code, same email, same recipient.
-
You can stack gift cards with discount codes. If you have a
DRSCHROCK10first-order discount, apply it first, then add the gift card. Shopify handles the math. - You don't need an account to redeem. Guest checkout works fine. If you do create an account with the same email the gift card was sent to, the balance automatically shows up in your profile.
Common questions
I can't find the email — can it be resent?
Yes. Email hello@drschrock.com with the original purchaser's name and approximate purchase date. We'll look up the order and resend the gift card email to your address. Real person answering, usually within one business day.
How do I check my gift card balance?
Two ways. (1) Easiest: start a checkout, add a low-cost item, paste your code at the payment step — you'll see the remaining balance immediately. No need to actually complete the order. (2) If you have a Dr. Schrock's account with the same email the card was sent to, your balance shows up in Account → Gift cards.
The code says "invalid" — what now?
Usually one of three things. (1) Typo: the codes are case-insensitive but dashes matter — try paste-from-clipboard instead of retyping. (2) Already redeemed in full: if the entire balance was used in a prior order, the code shows invalid going forward. (3) Manually deactivated: rare, but happens if the original purchase was refunded. Email hello@drschrock.com and we'll sort it out.
Can I use a gift card across multiple orders?
Yes. The card holds its balance the same way a debit card does — spend what you want when you want, and the rest stays on the code. Most recipients spread a $100 card across two or three orders over several months.
Can I combine a gift card with a discount code?
Yes — gift cards and discount codes stack. Apply the discount code first (e.g., DRSCHROCK10 for 10% off your first order), then add the gift card. Shopify applies the discount to the subtotal first, then deducts the gift card balance from the discounted total.
Does the gift card expire?
Never. We don't deduct service fees or reduce balances over time. The value is yours whenever you want it — weeks, months, or years from now.
Can I transfer my gift card to someone else?
Technically yes, since the code is just a string — if you forward the email or share the code, whoever has it can redeem it. We can't track or restrict transfers. That said, if you'd rather have the balance moved to a different email so the original sender can't accidentally redeem it, email hello@drschrock.com with both addresses and the original order number.
Can I get a refund instead of redeeming?
Generally no — gift cards are non-refundable once issued. If the gift card was purchased in error and is still unredeemed, contact the original purchaser; we can reverse it on their end if their order is within Shopify's refund window. After that point the balance is locked to the recipient.
Still stuck? Email hello@drschrock.com — a real person responds, usually within one business day.
